Each week on On a Mission we talk to community leaders who are out to make a positive impact in the area. Today, our host Jack Sears talks with Bob Glowacki of St. Vincent De Paul Waukesha County.
At the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP), we are a dedicated community of 500 volunteer members, united in our mission to uplift those who reach out for help. Each member is paired in teams, engaging with individuals and families in need of compassion and care. Our approach is rooted in prayerful consideration, ensuring that every act of service, whether providing meals to combat hunger, helping families stay in their homes, or simply offering a listening ear—is delivered with dignity and respect. Guided by the belief that “no act of charity is unknown to the Society,” we continuously seek creative solutions to empower those facing challenges. In 2024 alone, our collective efforts resulted in an astounding $3 million impact on poverty in Waukesha County.
